Louise Villanueva

CPNP

Louise is a dual-certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in Primary Care and Acute Care. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and her Master of Science in Nursing degrees at the University of California, Los Angeles. Her nursing experience began on an adult medical-surgical unit and then transitioned to the NICU. One of her favorite things about working in the NICU is providing discharge education & anticipatory guidance to parents on how to care for their newborns at home. This fueled her drive to pursue a role as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner because it allows her to continue to educate parents and to provide compassionate care to children as they progress through the different stages of life, not just the newborn stage. In her spare time, Louise likes to stay active, travel, attend concerts, and spend time with her family and friends.
